Meet Our Team

Hi! My name is Teacher Derek and I'm currently living and working in Taiwan as an English teacher. I also manage new teachers who decide to come live abroad. We currently have a small team here in Taiwan. We are from the Beehive State of good ol' Utah, USA!
Growing up, I often limited myself to trying new things. After high school, I served an LDS mission in Atlanta, Georgia. This experience taught me so many valuable lessons about the world and about myself. Although I served stateside, and loved my mission, I always wanted to live abroad. Five years ago, I decided to quit my job, sold my car, and moved to Taiwan. It's been an inspiring adventure filled with unforgettable memories. I want to share this feeling with others. I have the best job in the world!
If you've ever been to Taiwan or Asia, or feel curious about teaching English overseas, I would love to chat with you. Usually the most rewarding things in life are the things that cause some discomfort in the beginning. Moving halfway across the world isn't easy, but it's definitely worth it. Please message me if you have any questions. Hope to see you soon!
Teacher Claire, pictured left, is also from Utah. She has been teaching in Taiwan for 1 year. Because asian countries are so close in proximity, we decided to fly to Korea for a few days! There are always many opportunities for traveling and exploring.
Teaching abroad changes lives.
